First keynote announced 

We are pleased to announce the first keynote speaker of the ITD24 conference! Mieke Bal, cultural theorist, critic, video artist, and curator, will speak about her concept of ‘Inter-ships’. The title of her keynote is: Inter-ships: On Being In-Between in Cultural, Disciplinary, Subjective and Medial Encounters. Mieke Bal has published over 40 books and her view of interdisciplinary analysis in the Humanities and Social Sciences is expressed in what she has termed “cultural analysis” and through “travelling concepts”.

In a couple of weeks we will be announcing the other plenary speakers, so keep an eye on the conference website.
